USB Cable Thread Lock
prusaprinters

I just bought a USB microphone (t.bone SC 440 by Thomann) and wondred why there is a thread on the end with the USB connector, and as USB B is notoriously wacky I thought "there must be a special lockable connector for this". The support answered "No such thing". So I designed one my own.

Surprisingly I got the thread right (at least it fits) on the first try and a few hours later (only one reprint due to my own mistake) I can now lock the cable.

Print the inner parts ("Schale") twice! I am not sure if the dimensions of USB plugs are standard, so if you use a different one you may need to alter the file (best done in the Blender file).
