Looking at an old Nokia USB cable I found, I loved the design of its built-in cable organizer. Searching Thingiverse, I discovered that Heliobteixeira had posted a similar concept with integrated cable management, almost identical to Nokia's. I used Heliobteixeira's STL file as a starting point and began tweaking the wall thickness and modifying the design extensively until it met my requirements for rigidity and snugness when snapping onto cables. I've uploaded three versions: - The 2.8 mm version fits most standard Samsung USB cables with a diameter of approximately 2.8 mm. - The 3.5 mm version is designed for slightly thicker USB cables with a diameter of about 3.5 mm. - The Braided version snaps securely onto so-called braided type cables, also suitable for ~ 3.5 mm diameter cables but featuring a slightly larger entry port compared to the other 3.5 mm version. These designs were tested using various USB cables I have on hand. There are likely many other cable thicknesses out there, so feel free to experiment and adjust the design in your slicer as needed if it doesn't fit perfectly. Material properties and printer accuracy can also affect how well the design snaps onto the cable. Since these print quickly, don't be afraid to try. To use: simply snap one end of the USB cable into the cable recess (it should fit snugly and shouldn't slide over or fall off the cable), then loop the rest of the cable and insert one loop at a time into the other end. These prints are surprisingly fast and make for nice giveaways.
