Sometimes the pegs fit easily into the holes; other times they might need a bit more force. To improve the printing process, make sure the support structures are properly supporting most or all of the peg. I printed my pegboard parts using an Ultimaker 2 with an Olsson Block and a 1mm nozzle, yielding durable prints at a reasonable speed.
