This connector grip clicks onto the Plugable-made USB extension cable connector. Check out this link for more information: https://www.amazon.com/Plugable-Meter-Active-Extension-Female/dp/B004AGX4YO/ref=sr_1_9?ie=UTF8&qid=1537901415&sr=8-9&keywords=usb+extension+cable+25+ft. This cable is commonly used to link GOTO telescopes, such as the Explore Scientific EXOS II or G11, to controlling computers. A common problem with push connectors like this one in astrophotography is that users trip on the cable outside at night while photographing galaxies, losing control of the GOTO mount and pictures being downloaded. This causes time-consuming and frustrating recalibration and rehoming of the telescope. 2-10-2019 update: I've discovered variations in USB connection hardware length, so I modified my bracket design to feature a circular end for flexibility and a rigid connection.
