USB-C enclosure for DIY cable
thingiverse
I created my own USB-C to USB-A cable, but the USB-C connector I purchased had an unusual casing that caused the connector portion to protrude noticeably and wasn't very stable when plugged in: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/4000541100627.html. I designed this enclosure to make it resemble a standard USB-C cable, so only the necessary length needed to be properly inserted sticks out. The finish isn't flawless, but I'm covering it with heat shrink tubing to give it a cleaner appearance.
