USB Buck Converter Housing with Ender Rail Mount

USB Buck Converter Housing with Ender Rail Mount

I was tired of having an extra cord just to power the raspberry pi I'm using for octoprint. so I bought a couple of these USB 6-32v DC- USB buck converters (https://a.co/d/bx7QEVC) and designed this housing for them (I'll use the other for my daughter's printer). After 5 iterations, I have a version that fits the converter PCB with room inside for air flow, vents to accomodate any heat that gets generated and a mount that fits in any of the rail slots on the Ender 3-series printers. I have mine mounted upside-down under the Y axis belt. This allows for a short run to the power supply and a shorter USB -> micro-USB cable to the pi. Design was done in TinkerCAD
