USB box with lid
thingiverse
This is a tiny box with lid that I designed for use with clients who receive USB sticks from me. Instructions Welcome everyone - enjoy my first Thingiverse design. Everyone, please read the instructions carefully before using an M3D printer. I printed this part on a Mac using an M3D printer and Cura slicer. Because it's a bit too large to stand upright with an M3D, I recommend adding supports for the overhanging lips. Also, use a raft or brim (I used a raft) to prevent the corners from lifting. The lid slides smoothly overall, but please note that there is no lock in this design. Maybe future designs will have this feature. Infill: 20% Bottom/Top Thickness: .6 Shell Thickness: .7 Material: PLA MakerBot Cool Silver Temperature: 215c Print Speed: 40mm/s Important Side Note: If your 3D printer is taller than an M3D, you may get a better lip without supports. However, if it's as tall as an M3D, the print head will crash at the top when trying to return home. Safe Printing everyone!
