To install a panel mounted USB port on your 3D printer, simply cut off the unnecessary part of any USB cable, solder the exposed wires to the corresponding pins on the USB B jack. Secure with hot glue for insulation and zip-tie for strain relief, fasten with two 6-32 screws, and you're good to go!
