This DIY mounting bracket is designed for small PCB type USB B ports, particularly suitable for installation on a Mendelmax printer. To assemble it, gather four 3mm bolts, nuts, and washers, along with a USB B PC mount socket featuring a provided PCB. First, print the bracket and solder the USB B port onto its accompanying small PCB, which comes with a 4x2.54mm set of male pins for connecting to your control board (e.g., RUMBA). Mount the PCB on the bracket using two bolts, then attach the bracket to your printer using the remaining two bolts. Finally, connect the USB port to your printer's board with a 4-pin female-female cable, ensuring correct pin order by referring to your plug and board schematics if needed.
