USB arcade joystick
thingiverse
This is my first version of a classic arcade joystick. It utilizes a USB driver sourced from AliExpress and a switching mechanism. To complete this project, you'll need to purchase an arcade joystick kit (available on AliExpress) for approximately $15. This kit includes the "Zero Delay Arcade USB ENCODER PC TO JOYSTICK," as well as wires, cables, and buttons. The joystick features two main buttons and a third button that serves as a mode switch between USB device modes A and B. Mode A is designed for use with PCs, while mode B is intended for Mister Project applications. To assemble this project, you will require the following components: * Two printed parts * Several screws and nuts to complete the assembly: 4 small screws to secure the electronic board, 4 larger screws to finish the upper and lower parts (I used classic screws, but the design originally calls for M3 imbus screws and nuts), and 6 screws with conic heads to mount the cross mechanism with the stick * Two large buttons from the arcade kit * One small button (a "Mini Switch 12mm 1A waterproof switch pbs33b 12v momentary Push button" sourced from AliExpress) * Cables and connectors from the kit * A USB cable from the kit The third button, originally intended as a mode selector, can be repurposed for autofire functionality if it's not needed on your PC.
