Super excited to share this. Very simple idea, but I've had it in my head for over a year and just found some free time to work on it. Couldn't believe no one has put an American flag spin on the pokeball. Seriously, couldn't find one ANYWHERE. I'd like to take it a step further and make it hollow, hinged, and printable. Trick to "embossing" a shape like the stars on a sphere is to make a tangent plane on the surface of the sphere, draw your shape. Create an new body (a hollow exterior sphere the distance away from the surface equal to the depth you want of the emboss). Extrude your drawing up to both surfaces, creating a new body, combine with the body of the original sphere, hide body of external sphere. Combines two things I love dearly: my country and Pokemon.
