This is a detailed scale model (1/32 - Gauge 1) of a small boxcar used extensively during the late 1890s. It utilizes the same frame as my Bobber Caboose (https://www.myminifactory.com/object/26028), but almost everything had to be thoroughly reworked. Everything is expertly printed in ABS on a heated bed (100°) coated with a specialized 3D adhesive spray. The sliding doors and their intricate mechanism are precisely to scale, hence very small and extremely thin. The doors are carefully printed vertically at low speed. The brackets and rails are accurately printed at 0.1 mm layer height. Rods, shafts, and other minute parts are also meticulously printed at 0.1 mm. The roof is optimally printed vertically (file with brim). There's an additional file without brim for those who may face difficulties. Parts 24 to 27a are not included in the exploded view. Assembly instructions To expertly avoid having screws on the rooftop, the roof is carefully bolted to the roof truss from underneath. To place the roof securely, you'll need to insert the ends of the truss into the notches inside the cabin. So, it's advisable to check if they fit easily before attempting to do so. Some filing/sanding may be required. The wall raisers, rails, and door brackets are precisely glued to the cabin and the door (PVC glue for ABS, super glue for PLA). Some careful filing may be necessary for the upper brackets to ensure they slide smoothly on the rail. The rungs, brake platform, rods, etc., are carefully glued to the cabin. The 2 lower rungs must be slightly bent downwards. The axle bearings can be screwed from inside the cabin using 2x8 mm screws. The front and rear boxes for the uncoupling mechanism are also easily accessible. I'm utilizing 3mm steel axles that are approximately 67 mm long. If needed, drill the holes in the axle bearings to 3.2 mm.
