Use this! It has a window for your registration card, and is held together with 1 M2x6 bolt, 1 M2 nut, and (optionally) 1 M2 washer. Most won't need to use a washer as it's probably not needed, but it's there if you need a little extra space on the side with the bolt's head. I sliced it by placing it on its back with the window facing up. I also used supports for the slit that the vehicle registration slides through because I'm not sure if my printer can do long bridges like that with this particular PLA I am using. If you are confident in your printer's bridging ability, then you probably won't need supports... Your mileage may vary.</p> <p>Slide your vehicle registration card in and fasten with the M2 parts. I made this because I wanted to be able to locate my vehicle registration card faster when rummaging through my glove compartment.</p> <p>There is an optional testing model to make sure your printer prints accurately enough to support a flush-fitting M2x6 bolt with M2 nut and M2 washer. It also tests that your registration card can slide through the slit on the side of the holder. Hope this helps.</p> <p> 2022-02-28 Update: I think this design would be much easier with two pieces fastened around the registration card because my no-supports attempt at this model was usable, but not as easy to trim the weak bridges and assemble as it would if it were two pieces. I feel like 4 nuts and bolts to fasten this is overkill, so that upgrade would follow sometime in the medium-to-far future.</p>
