The collection features a 1/1800th scale New Orleans Class Cruiser model, certain elements not proportionally sized. Seven US Navy heavy cruisers of the New Orleans class were built during the 1930's, and three fell prey to wartime circumstances. Following the war, the remaining ships met an early retirement deadline in 1959 and were promptly scrapped. Their main firepower consisted of nine eight-inch guns along with twelve five-inch guns and an array of anti-aircraft defense systems. This particular collection item serves as part of a comprehensive lineup of WWII warships. Stay tuned for further additions to come, and don't hesitate to request specific pieces via message; the more requests I receive, the higher the likelihood they will be prioritized in my future production plans. The updated version 1 model boasts enhanced realism, featuring meticulously crafted boats and anchor chains as well as precise printability adjustments. All these enhancements are showcased within the collection at its most recent version, implemented on October 8th, 2019. Each component of this extensive scale replica has undergone meticulous testing, carefully evaluated using a .1mm layer height combined with an optimal nozzle setting at .4mm, thus achieving outstanding model durability and detail retention when utilizing PLA print material.
