The Model is a scale reproduction of a Standard U.S.Navy Steam Cutter, as described in a Navy book dated 1902, by A.M.P Maschmeyer. The project considered a steam engine, two sails and possibility to use rows. The hull shape was a standard for different boat dimensions: 28, 30, 33, 36 and 40. The present Model is the 40 version.
