US National Park Service Shield
thingiverse
We're attempting to visit all the US national parks during our lifetime, resulting in a plethora of National Park photos. To unify our collage, I precision-cut this NPS emblem, designed to be hung on the wall as the centerpiece. I've included the SVG files for each individual component as I cut them out with my laser cutter. You could also engrave all the parts simultaneously to create a single-layered sign, achieving a cohesive look without the layered effect I achieved. The entire assembly is held together by superglue alone, so there are no intricate interlocking mechanisms or components that rely on specific material thickness. My project was constructed from veneer-backed MDF and I painted the green elements.
