US Elco 80ft PT Boat Free 3D print model

The scale model you see here is of the Elco 80ft Torpedo Boat, roughly scaled down to fit within 1/1800th scale - some features intentionally not proportional. These boats played a pivotal role in US Navy operations during WWII as hundreds were built. One iconic boat was PT-109, later commanded by President John F Kennedy himself. After being struck and abandoned, he led his crew members through challenging territory, evading Japanese patrols until American rescue arrived weeks after their unfortunate collision with a Fubuki-class destroyer. This exhibit showcases one aspect of my collection on WWII warships; keep your eyes peeled for additional releases soon if you've got specific interest, just let me know and it'll be prioritized for inclusion in future posts. Successfully tested using PLA material at a 0.08mm layer thickness, nozzle diameter at .4mm.
