US Coin Tubes with Threaded Cap and Funnel

Coin containers with threads for US currency, designed to hold coins securely in place. The design includes containers for silver dollars and half dollar pieces, as well as funnels that friction fit over the threads for easy installation and removal. These coin containers work well with ABS and PLA materials, but may require increased wall thickness when printing with PETG due to its slightly lower rigidity. After six months of use, I have found these containers to be durable enough to withstand being dropped multiple times while fully loaded in both ABS and PLA. To ensure optimal results, consider printing the quarters tube with a single shell at 100% infill to prevent breakage caused by gaps between circular shells. My slicer had previously left such gaps, leading to breakage during use. Advantages of this design include: 1. The lid is not friction fit, ensuring that threads remain tightly secured when tightened. 2. Containers with lids will not roll away due to their secure locking mechanism. 3. A hole in both the top and bottom prevents coins from getting stuck if a wrong denomination is accidentally inserted. This hole can accommodate a standard Bic pen. 4. Friction fit funnels enable quick and easy filling of the containers. A batch file is included for building different parts, as rendering threads on these tubes takes considerable time using Openscad. The threaded caps may cause the GUI to lock up during rendering, so it's recommended to render them separately or use a batch file for efficiency. On my relatively recent laptop, rendering all parts takes around an hour.
