I wanted to create a U.S. coin sorter inspired by other designs I'd seen online, specifically one my oldest daughter would love. We needed plenty of room for pennies and a special spot just for gold dollar coins - every kid dreams about finding a magical gold coin. After three rounds of revisions, I landed on this final design. It features two penny columns, a nickel column, a dime column, a quarter column, and a Sacagawea gold dollar coin column. Right now, I'm testing a revolving peg in the center; once that's perfected, I'll post an update.
