The purpose of this contraption is for easy manipulation and moving around of a US Coin (Quarter, Dime, Nickel, and Penny) under a USB microscope setup. You can also view an edge of a coin by sticking the coin in the rectangular hole. Again, this Coin Holder Examiner Slide is compatible with modern U.S. Coins which include: Quarters, Dimes, Nickels, and Pennies. This isn't compatible with half dollars or dollar coins, or coins that are drastically out of spec. Caution: It occurred to me that Polylactic Acid or PLA might damage the coin due to its acidity, Don't leave your coins on the holder for the long term. This utility is only to be used in a short time, a few minutes or maybe a few hours at most--just to make sure your precious coins will be safe and not damaged.
