The B-17 Flying Fortress emerged as one of the war's most iconic bombers due to widespread deployment, primarily in European theater by US forces. Daily bombing missions on the Nazi war machine reached new heights during peak conflict years. B-17s also participated in key Pacific battles, including Midway. This model is designed and optimized for 1/1200th scale, but can be scaled up or down to some extent. Upscaling is less practical due to compromised detail at larger sizes. The model features expanded dimensions along the z-axis for better printing and emphasis on intricate details. Stronger elements have been implemented with thicker profiles. Scale accuracy has been maintained in wingspan and overall length. Available models include individual aircraft files as well as coordinated squadron configurations.
