About this model: This F-35 AA-1 is an F-35A Lightning II, a fighter that will enter massive production and be delivered to the US Air Force. It's not the X-35 or early concept/prototype models. We've been working on this model since last year, making dozens of major revisions before finally releasing it to the public. Modeled in 3dsMAX 9 using thousands of photos from 19 F35A test flights and ground demos, this model meets photo real standards for use in high-end applications. Thumbnail renders are not processed with Photoshop; they're rendered by 3dsMAX 9 with Vray. About the F-35 Program: The F-35 Lightning II program is on track to begin deliveries to armed services in 2010. The first F-35A, a conventional takeoff and landing (CTOL) variant, completed 19 test flights as of July 2007. Main products include two files: max 9 (with Vray setting). This original file requires Vray 1.5 plugin from Chaos Group for advanced rendering; it's used to make all thumbnails. max 9 (with scanline setting). It utilizes 3dsMax's default render engine, requiring no plugins. Texture Info: Main textures are 7500 x 7500 in size. Please note that the model comes with a detailed cockpit and pilot (JHMCS helmet), which is included.
