I fixed my cheap trolley bag's broken wheel socket by taking a quick fix route. For me, that was the Urban Trolley Bag from Jumbo toy stores. First, I flattened out the damaged plastic, 3D printed the replacement part, and secured it with super glue and epoxy along with some paper for added strength - you can use any adhesive you like, but I was in a rush :P. Next, I reattached the original wheel to its metal rod and kept it stable with zip ties as shown in my photos. PLA will work just fine if you don't run with your trolley bag and keep it away from excessive heat caused by friction. However, I would suggest using ABS for a more durable fix.
