Urban Home Model with Realistic Textures. How to Import OBJ Files into Cinema 4D? First, create a new file or double-click on the OBJ file you want to import. Next, click in the window below to mark it as the active object. Now, go to the Normals tab and press points or skip, depending on your preference. After that, select the Texture coords (UVs) option from the menu. To finish importing, open the Material tab and import the MTL file associated with your OBJ model. As a default, Cinema 4D will assign random colors to your materials. However, if you want to achieve more realistic results, consider upgrading to PBR textures for an additional fee. If your imported model appears transparent, start over and check the Invert transparency option. In case of any errors or issues during import, feel free to send me a message for assistance.
