UR85HD FPV Canopy
thingiverse
I designed a canopy for my UR85HD, which perfectly fits the stock boards and camera, specifically the Caddx Turtle v2. My UR85 HD flies smoothly with this canopy in place. Its steeper angle makes it more agile, allowing me to perform a nice power loop for the first time. The canopy weighs approximately 6.25 grams when printed with TPU material, requiring about an hour to complete. The camera angle is adjustable from around 10 degrees to almost 70 degrees. A small clip on the back securely holds the vtx antenna in place. The whoop-style vtx is mounted into the canopy just like it was originally designed. The microSD card remains accessible, but I've opted for autorecord instead of using the record button anyway. Aside from the microSD slot area, the rest of the stack is enclosed above and on both sides to protect the internal boards and wires. Test images showcase a setup with the Caddx Turbo Micro F2, which shares a similar form factor with the Turtle v2. This canopy weighs slightly more than the original white stock canopy but offers flexibility, added protection, and distinct design features.
