This robotic assembly was designed specifically for a live demo at a trade show. Universal Robots plan to utilize vision technology to locate parts and automatically assemble them seamlessly together. To simplify the process, the design incorporates tapered cuts that enable smooth part alignment. Once assembled, the robot will transport the part to a fan station where it will securely attach the PVC pipe, causing the internal gear to spin freely. The design's parametric nature in Fusion 360 makes it easily scalable and adaptable.
