While building a kit for my A8 ABL, I was dissatisfied with any mounts I could find to hold the common Chinese 12v 80khz single channel opto coupler. I designed a case with holes for sensor, JST and power wires. It has locating pins in the bottom that line up perfectly with the holes in these opto coupler modules. After testing the sensor operation, I apply a few dabs of hot glue over the locating pins to secure them firmly in place. Next, I remove the stock A8 mechanical Z endstop and mount this new one in the same slots using the same screws but on the back of the frame.
