Upright Raspberry Pi 4 with Passive Al Heat Sink Case
thingiverse
Human: An upright fan case for the Raspberry Pi 4 comes equipped with a passive heat sink (https://www.adafruit.com/product/4341).\r\n\r\nThis case holds a Noctua 40x40x10mm 5V fan to keep things cool, routing wires through a duct to connect up to the Pi GPIO pins. I’m only using +5 and Gnd but anyone wanting PWM control or RPM monitoring should remember the GPIO voltage limits.\r\n\r\nA knockout lets you use the monitor connector, but knocking it out could allow forced air to shortcut out. Running with this fan is as cool as it gets, and that may not be a problem. The POE port has a cutout, while the camera connector remains blocked like my other scarab version.\r\n\r\nThis one doesn't clamp and protects the heat sink and Pi much better than any other model. The Pi with heat sink and fan drop in easily, held in place by the lid. On my printer it's a tight friction fit that holds nicely.\r\n\r\nThe passive heat sink for the Pi 4 combined with the Noctua fan makes for a nice combination.
