I had to cut shorter pipes on the Z axis to use this design. Your pipes should extend up to where the backplate of the stepper motor housing meets the shell of the stepper. I took an idea for a part that KarlTinsly made for the previous version of MPCNC created by Allted and modified it. I removed space from the motor mount for the NEMA fan shroud made by BullseyeBody. I added a drag chain mount from the parts designed by PCFlyer and incorporated the two keystone jacks designed by jsadusk. I filled in some gaps to make everything fit together well, then punched out holes for PTFE bowden tube support. I figured that the fan shroud would be a good way to add some passive mechanical support to the stepper motor with the added bonus of cooling it. The main reason I did this was to create a rigid wire guide for the cable chain to mate up to, and I loved the earlier clip-on Z tower keystone idea. Thingiverse's search engine is not very useful. Here is a link to the cable chain I used: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:119814 This design was made with Tinkercad. You can edit it online at https://www.tinkercad.com/things/dJljqJJN93n. Print Settings: Printer Brand: Printrbot Printer: Simple Black Rafts: No Supports: Yes Resolution: .25 Infill: 30% Notes: I used supports touching the buildplate to support the fan shroud.
