Upper Thread Guard for industrial Singer Sewing Machines

Edit: My mum informed me that the problem lies with the UPPER thread guard. I must note that this solution is designed specifically for industrial-style machines like the Singer 211 G 566, but it should work seamlessly on all 211 models and other industrial machines as well. I've even added a picture to demonstrate its use. My mum asked me to create a Lower Thread Guard for her vintage Singer sewing machine, and after some tinkering, I came up with this clever solution that works like a charm. All you need to do is simply slide it into the 3mm screw holes where the original part used to be - no screws required whatsoever!
