Replacement Filament Guide (Upper) for my New Matter MOD-t Printer: NewMatter MOD-t Rafts: Yes Supports: Yes Resolution: 0.05 Infill: 100 Notes: I have yet to test it over a longer period of time, but it should work as a temporary replacement until I get the proper replacement in ABS. Since the piece is quite small, you might be better off using Rafts when printing, as they will help with supports and prevent the part from sticking in place. I also disabled the nozzle lift setting, which resulted in a much better finish on the small edge at the top. I printed this guide at a slow speed of 20mm/s. Finish: Depending on your filament type, print quality, and other factors, you may need to use a sharp knife or sandpaper to complete the part. Two things are crucial: 1) The filament must easily pass through the guide, paying close attention to the small edge at the bottom. 2) The hinges might require some adjustment to fit snugly into the holes of the extruder enclosure.
