This user designed and printed an attachment for a 1 1/4" shop vac hose, after losing the original attachments years ago. They decided to create the attachment using Sketchup as a personal challenge, questioning if they could design it, print it, and if it would function properly. After completing the project, they discovered areas of improvement, such as making the connection between the hose and base more structural, and angling the whole unit at 45 degrees for better functionality. The user successfully used the attachment to clean their minivan, but noted that the base broke where the hose joined it. They printed this part at 30% infill and .25mm layer height.
