This V-block has screw holes and is meant to be used with a fabric covered hair tie to hold the laser in the block as you spin it to align the laser. Simply rest the laser in it, fasten the band around it and spin it wile watching the laser dot on a wall about 12 feet away. If the dot doesnt spin in the same place it needs adjustment.
