Upgraded resource cubes for Rolling Heights. The first three photos shown the cubes printed in resin and painted. The fourth photo shown is a test with the pieces printed in PLA. To paint the clear cube I put down a very thin layer of acrylic black ink on a flat surface and rubbed the sides of the cubes on it to stain. The cubes are made to sit loose and not snap so paint is not stripped but if your paint is really thick you may need to take a hobby knife to the bottom to open it a little. If you want to make them snap and use different color resin/PLA you will have to modify the files and add some primitives to the hole in the bottom of the piece to make it smaller. The size of the hole needed to make it a tight fit is entirely dependent on your printer so you will have to test and calibrate.
