When swapping out the untrustworthy T2.5 belts and pulleys originally installed in the Vertex K8400 printer for GT2 belts and pulleys by following the instructions found at https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1857266, I encountered difficulties with the belt clamps cracking and failing. These upgraded belt clamps are a full three times thicker and have successfully resolved this issue. The original M3 x 12mm screws must be replaced with longer M3 x 14mm screws due to their increased thickness, and it's highly recommended that button head screws be used as shown in the picture to increase clearance and provide a wider base for improved load distribution. Overall, upgrading the Vertex K8400 printer to use GT2 belts and pulleys has transformed this machine into an extremely accurate and reliable 3D printing device. I strongly advise installing the GT2 upgrade.
