This lens housing is optimized for "Nikon nikkor 50mm f1.4 AI-S". The flange back of distance the Nikon F-mount lens is 46.50mm, which is relatively long among general SLR still camera lenses. Therefore, Nikon F mount lens has the advantage of being able to use a simple conversion adapter to attach and use not only digital mirrorless cameras but also other SLR cameras such as Canon EF mount cameras and Sony A (Minolta AF) mounts.
