[Updated] Voronoi Raspberry Pi 3B+ Case
thingiverse
Update: I've added a second version of the top part of this case, which has a cut-out for those who want to use the GPIO pins. The .STL file is included with the thing files. There's also an extra image that shows the cut-out with the official 3B+ technical drawing as an overlay, on which I based the location of the cut-out. This design is based on 0110-M-P's design: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:922740 There are several changes in this model compared to the original design: * Voronoi pattern cutouts in the top and bottom piece allow chips on the Raspberry Pi to radiate their heat. * Mounting holes have been removed from the bottom part of the enclosure. * Thicker mounting standoffs provide increased strength and durability. * Hexagonal cutouts on the bottom part of the enclosure enable you to close the case with M3 nuts and bolts. The Raspberry Pi can be mounted using M2.5 nuts and bolts. * Increased hole diameter means you no longer need to tap the plastic, but you must use nuts to close the case and mount the Raspberry Pi. The fourth image shows exactly what hardware is needed to mount the Raspberry Pi and to close the case. Here are some links to buy the necessary hardware: * M2.5 hardware: https://bit.ly/2xCqL83 * M3 hardware: https://bit.ly/2UJIxOD Both links in this post are affiliate links.
