Yes, another spool holder solution...But do you need to quickly swap different spools with 1.75mm filaments? I prefer the simplicity of the original Prusai3 Plus/MK2 spool holders, but I won't move it along a tight dural frame every time I switch to a new spool width. If you have some old or spare 8mm rod (156mm or longer), my design is perfect for you. Just lift the axis and change the spool with filament. It's suitable for the original Prusa i3 Plus/MK2 with dural frame or clones, no bearings needed at all. [UPDATE 2017-09-02] I've added a lighter Insert part "V3a" (less material, faster print) and Filament Guide (V3a) for full spools where filament tends to slide aside. Everything is printable without supports. Print Settings Printer Brand: RepRap Printer: Prusa i3 Plus Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.2 to 0.3 Infill: 40% for both holders, 20% for the rest Notes: You need to print one Insert (0.3 layers are okay here as it will have better grip with the spools and they won't slide from one side to another during printing). Then two Holders – they're identical and you can play with more colors etc. Use more infill here (40% is okay). The two Stoppers are there to minimize friction between the Insert and the Holders (and avoid the rod from sliding to the sides). Use their smoother side on sides with the Holders. The Insert alone has sufficient friction to secure the rod between the Holders, but those Stoppers are just an insurance. [Optional] You can also print one Filament Guide part; it's simply attachable to the main frame of the original Prusa i3 MK2/Plus.
