The Plumbob, iconic bright green crystal in EA’s The Sims franchise, is a fairly accurate reflection of the character’s (Sim) mood. This floating crystal has a wide and very variable range of colors, each representing a specific mood. Every time a new game’s launched, the newly generated Sim can be seen in a very good mood, represented by a bright, deep green. As soon as it’s mood starts dropping, it’ll slowly change to a paler, more neutral color, before finally dropping to red, the Sim thus reaching a really bad mood.
