My freshly upgraded Ratcheting Socket Wrench blueprint now boasts a 4-tooth ratchet system and key design enhancements for added robustness. The innovative layout enables the use of standard 12.5MM (1/2″) sized sockets. Required components: 1x Bottom Pin_mk3 1x Ratchet Barrel Top_mk6 1x Ratchet Barrel_4 tooth_MK6 1x Ratchet Handle_Bottom_MK3 1x Ratchet Handle_Top_MK2 4x Ratchet Tooth_MK2 1x Top Pin_MK3 4x U SPRING and either: 1x Ratchet Long Handle_MK3 or 1x Ratchet Short Handle_MK3 Drawing inspiration from Cleven’s Pocket Ratchet Wrench (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:455507), I set out to design a full-sized Ratcheting Socket Wrench capable of withstanding real-world demands. The main structure consists of top and bottom sections connected by a handle attached to the lower section, which features interchangeable small or large handles (featuring different lengths for enhanced leverage). This 3D printed design relies on eight M4 machine screws to secure its components together. The ratchet mechanism boasts attachments on each side, mirroring Cleven’s ingenious design to allow seamless clockwise and counter-clockwise rotation.
