Updated Printrbot Simple Metal Feet

Updated Printrbot Simple Metal Feet

thingiverse

I noticed with my previous design (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:426492) that the curved bottom edges of the PrintrBot Simple Metal were causing the feet to slowly slide towards the middle of the printer, reducing its stability and negating the purpose of the feet. This new design addresses this problem by incorporating slots for both metal sheets at a corner, making them nearly unmovable. I hope you all enjoy it. PS: This design also features holes in the bottom for rubber pads. I have included SolidWorks .sldprt files so that you can modify these holes and any other aspects of the design to fit your needs. Print two copies of each file. The cut depths are customized in each to accommodate either the front right and back left or the front left and back right corners, due to how the metal sheets meet up on the PrintrBot. If you print two copies of each file, it should be apparent where they fit best.
