Updated GT2 Belt Clamp

Updated GT2 Belt Clamp

I was searching for a reliable belt clamp when I stumbled upon Peter Larsen's design. Its sleek appearance caught my eye, but I had reservations about its durability with prolonged use, given that it relies solely on plastic to secure the belt. Several online forums mentioned concerns about the belt's teeth becoming distorted over time, which could compromise the clamp's effectiveness. Fortunately, a common solution was proposed: modify the clamps so that the belt engages with itself, thereby resolving the issue. To address my concerns, I modified the original design by incorporating a retainer that securely holds the belt's tip in place as the rest of the belt wraps around and back over it. This allows for a snug fit, ensuring that the clamp remains tight and secure even after extended use.
