Updated_D6 Bondtech Mount v4
thingiverse
Here's a rebuild in Fusion 360 for the D6 Bondtech Mount. I've included the CAD files with history to facilitate further modifications. This build is based on the original STL file, which had some issues and I'm currently unable to verify the exact hole sizes - but this design matches the STL accurately. PLEASE post verified dimensions or simply update these files accordingly. Update: I've made some modifications to the initial design, which was a CAD copy for development purposes. This revised version should be stable and compatible with stock screws. The new files break down into three parts that can be easily snapped together (although gluing is still recommended). Note that the Upper frame needs to be printed on its side, with the large hole facing the build plate, allowing for optimal orientation strength. Update: A reference shift occurred in V3, moving items out of alignment. If you've downloaded this version, please delete it and download V4 instead. Update: V4 is working well so far. Depending on your printing setup, you may need to ream out the base/guide holes. The entire part snaps together surprisingly well, and when assembled with the motor, it becomes quite rigid - although glue can still be used if desired (previous versions and other iterations had issues with short machine screws).
