*Updated* Carson/FG/Smartech Airbox for Big Scale RC Cars

I've printed and tested the Airbox, and found that it has design flaws which need to be addressed. Specifically, the screw holes are too big and the "flaps" with holes in them are too small to secure properly, resulting in an insecure mounting system and a box that isn't airtight. I've uploaded a new version of the Airbox, which should resolve these issues. The screw holes have been adjusted to 2.9mm, allowing for easy tapping by standard M3 screws. This is a 3D-printed AirBox / Air Filter designed specifically for "Big Scale" RC-Cars 1/5 and 1/6. It's engineered for easy printing with minimal support required (see "Print Settings" for details). The AirBox requires around 5 hours to print and weighs approximately 90 grams, making it just as light as a regular AirBox. For the air filter to function properly, you'll need a microphone-shaped foam air filter and suitable air filter oil, along with a zip-tie. I haven't tested the capabilities of this filter yet, as I don't currently have a foam filter available. However, as shown in the pictures, I've printed and mounted it to my Smartech C-5's carburetor, which features a PT 28ccm engine. It should fit most common big scale engines like the Zenoah and CY. If needed, you can adjust the adapter size using the attached STEP file. I created this air filter because it offers significant cost savings. A high-quality airbox typically costs around $60, which is excessive for 100 grams of molded plastic and an air filter. Furthermore, with a foam air filter costing just $3.99 and printing your own plastic components for approximately $10, the total cost for the finished air filter comes to under $14 – a substantial savings.
