This is a modification suitable for the Bosch parallel guide 2607001387, intended for use with the POF/GOF series. The original design has considerable play and does not work very well, making it almost impossible to use the dial to set the guide. The dial only works in one direction and can only push on the guide, not pull. This MOD makes it possible to achieve both functionalities. New Method: Insert two plastics and glue them together. Place the nut on the spindle until clearance is lost. Be gentle and move it back and forth until it moves over the thread. It's a tight fit - take your time. Old Method: Insert two plastics and glue them together. Insert the spindle and mark its end on the plastic. A groove must be made in the spindle for a locking ring. Any remaining space can be filled with shims or washers.
