Updated Accessory band for the Ruger® 10/22

thingiverse

This accessory band was made for my Ruger Collector Series 10/22 rifle.\nUpdated - November 2, 2015\nApologies for accidentally uploading a legacy file previously.\nThese new files should fit tightly.\nPlease let me know if any issues occur.\nThe design is modeled after the picatinny rail style.\nI couldn't justify spending $30 on a plastic accessory band to mount my bipod,\nSo, I decided to make my own.\nThere are two top versions available - one with rails and one without them.\nPrint Settings\nRafts: Any type will do\nSupports: Yes, definitely necessary\nResolution: .2mm resolution is fine\nInfill: As dense as possible for strength\nNotes: My bipod has a strong spring that requires a firm support structure. I highly recommend making your print as strong and sturdy as you can.\nPost-Printing\nTo locate the band correctly, remove the front strap mount from the rifle.\nThere's a peg in the lower half of the band that will fit into the empty hole.\nEach part has a small bump marking the front face of the band due to the taper at the front of the rifle.\nThe parts attach securely with four 1 1/2" #6-32 pan head screws and nuts.\nThis is my first post, so hopefully there are not too many issues with this file. I hope you enjoy it!
