Updated (8/18/15) Shapeoko 2 X Carve style 52mm spindle mount

I redesigned the Inventables.com 52 mm X Carve Spindle Mount to integrate seamlessly with the Shapeoko 2 Z Axis Carriage Plate. This modified version attaches directly to the original Spindle mounting holes, ensuring a secure and straightforward installation process. My primary objective was to create Shapeoko 2 components that require no modifications to the existing machine. To achieve this goal, I re-engineered the design using Designspaek Mechanical software. The new iteration boasts an incredibly high surface count, exceeding 500,000, resulting in a significantly smoother finish. Moreover, all edges have been carefully rounded and holes enlarged for effortless mounting onto the Shapeoko 2 Z axis plate, making the entire process remarkably convenient.
