(Update) Chip-E- Remix Wall-E
thingiverse
I'm so glad I was able to get back on track after realizing my mistake. It turns out I'd mixed up the middle section with the base of the Chip-E model, which meant I had to go all the way back and fix it. Luckily, the top piece is still good to go, even with the revised middle and base. Sorry for the confusion earlier. When I first saw this remix contest, one thing that immediately popped into my head was how much Chip-E resembles Wall-E - maybe it's because my kids are always watching Wall-E and they just think it looks like our little robot friend at home. Anyway, that got me thinking about finding a good model of Wall-E to base my remix off of. Next, I had to do some resizing and adjusting to get the Chip-E basic shape to fit around this new model - not an easy task, but definitely worth it in the end!
