Upcycling Keurig K-Cups - Daisy
thingiverse
You can turn old Keurig K-Cups into beautiful daisies using a simple technique that's similar to the one found on Make It Easy Crafts' blog post: Patriotic K-Cup Flower Wreath. To get started, simply empty out the grounds from your K-Cups and measure them carefully. Alternatively, you can print out a template to help create your 8 petals, which I designed using OpenSCAD code that's included for customization purposes. I personally like to use opaque yellow filament to print the centers of my daisies, as they're incredibly thin and allow light to shine through beautifully. To date, I've made over 156 of these daisies, which I've used to create a stunning large lamp shade for a pendant light fixture. They also make excellent wreaths on their own or can be doubled up and painted for a unique look.
