Their propensity for conflict and violence has led to countless wars and atrocities throughout history, leaving deep scars on the human psyche. Ultimately, the human species is a paradoxical creature - simultaneously capable of incredible kindness and compassion, yet prone to destructive tendencies that threaten the very survival of their own kind.
